Tamworth Hospital is a rural referral hospital with 282 beds and is the largest health facility in NSW outside the Sydney-Wollongong-Newcastle metropolitan area. Tamworth Hospital is a major trauma referral centre.

 ## Tamworth Indoor Sports Centre

Tamworth Sports Centre is an exceptional facility and the region's newest multipurpose indoor sports facility.

It provides the Tamworth community with a modern, well-equipped sports facility which is suitable for a wide range of different sports and activities.  
The Sports Dome caters for local, state and national events, with both indoor and outdoor multi-purpose sporting courts.

There are 7 indoor multi-purpose courts which comply to international standards:  
There are 18 outdoor netball courts (including 2 which can also be used for basketball)

Other facilities include:

- 6 change rooms and amenity areas, treatment rooms and referee rooms
- Commercial cafe that services both indoor and outdoor areas
- 182 spaces with overflow areas available for major events
- Children's playground and outdoor seating area
- Physiology and Allied Health services through Rural Fit
- Public Address System which operates in separate zones or across the entire facility.

 ## Scully Park Stadium 

Scully Park Regional Sporting Precinct includes a state-of-the-art playing field that combines a sand/soil blend, sub surface draining and underground irrigation that provides a all-weather surface second to none.  
At full capacity the stadium will hold 11,000 spectators with several hundred in the covered stand. With a newly installed LED lighting system, it is now safe, efficient and cost effective  
The precinct has successfully showcased several major sporting events, including NRL matches, A-League Football, National Rugby Championships as well as many other events.
